Lenovo ThinkPad X120e Laptop, $420

ThinkPad X120eWhen our reviewer tested Lenovo's ThinkPad X120e a few months back, he was torn: Should he consider the portable an underperforming laptop or a fantastic netbook? After careful consideration, he gave the ThinkPad X120e four of five stars as a top-notch business netbook. Lenovo's ultraportable-cum-netbook usually sells for about $530, but TigerDirect has the X120e on sale for only $420, for a limited time.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS10 Megazoom Camera, $350

Lumix DMC-ZS10Panasonic's Lumix DMC-ZS10 is a capable compact camera with a huge 16X optical zoom--plus features like scene modes, 3D still shooting, and touch-screen controls. When we reviewed the Lumix DMC-ZS10 earlier this year, we gave it three out of five stars because our reviewers weren't thrilled with the Auto mode's image quality. You'll need to use the camera's manual controls to get the best photos. Normally Panasonic's megazoom sells for about $400, but Amazon has the Lumix DMC-ZS10 on sale for $350, with free shipping.
