Samsung UN55C8000 55-Inch 3D HDTV, $2179

Samsung UN55C8000Samsung's 55-inch 3D-ready LCD HDTV impressed our reviewer and lab staff when it came out a few months ago--and those folks are not easy to impress. The Samsung UN55C800 hit "some of the highest scores we've ever seen" in our lab tests, prompting our reviewer to call it "an outstanding HDTV." At launch, the Samsung UN55C800 retailed for $3500. Right now, though, you can get this high-end HDTV for only $2179 at Abe's of Maine--shipping is free, and the vendor is throwing in a wall mount that's worth $150.

Lexmark Impact S305 Inkjet All-in-One, $77

Impact S305Lexmark's Impact S305 lets you print, copy, and scan, and offers a basic feature set. The multifunction printer is reasonably speed, and it produces good-quality output. Unfortunately, its low price ($100 at launch) is offset by high ink prices. Nonetheless, for a small office or home user who doesn't do a lot of printing, this all-in-one is a good deal. Right now, it could be a terrific deal: Buy.com has the Impact S305 on sale for only $77, and shipping is free.

PCWorld Reviewers' Favorite Files: March 2011Our reviewers were very practical in March, focusing on utilities. Somebody's doing spring cleaning on their PCs: Benchmarking, cleanup, and system info programs dominate the list. If real-life technology feels too safe, check out the Blade Runner and HAL9000 themes for Windows 7. Those should make you want a nice, docile computer that does what you tell it to do.
